Tinsel’s take on classic TV theme songs. It’s kinda her thing.

BECAUSE WITHOUT THEIR THEME SONGS, CLASSIC TEVEVISION SHOWS WOULD MAKE VERY LITTLE SENSE. A FACT THAT IS JUST AS TRUE FOR LIFE AS IT FOR CLASSIC TV.

Before any of the show’s filmed episodes premiered on YouTube, the character of Tinsel was introduced to the world in a series of musical SoundCloud podcasts, which included the popular Theme Song Thursday, where each week Tinsel would let one of her listeners pick a favorite classic TV theme song and then passionately philosophize about it, digging out its hidden meanings before belting out the theme song itself.

As we learned in Episode 22 (Here’s The Story), Theme Songs are one of Tinsel’s favorite pastimes, and so it’s fitting that we rewind the clock to finish up the online series with a few filmed versions of these classic Classic TV Theme Song classics. Enjoy!

Just to recap: As a general rule, theme songs clarify – that’s why we love them! But as we all know, every rule has its exception, and this week's theme song happens to be an exceptional exception. Because, rather than clearing up the air, this one adds a bit of a stink to it. Almost literally. Even so, it's one of Tinsel’s favorites, so watch and enjoy!
